Lebanese President Underscores Lebanon’s Regaining World’s Confidence

Beirut: Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun said that confidence between Lebanon and the international community is being restored, noting that the country is now on the right path, despite the challenges and problems it faces.

According to Qatar News Agency, speaking during his meeting with members of the consular corps on Wednesday, Aoun said that the economic situation in the country is doing much better now, with tourism activity regaining momentum, something that indicates the return of confidence between Lebanon and the wider world and between the government and the people.

The Lebanese President pointed out that the government, in place for less than a year, has achieved many accomplishments.

Aoun also called on members of the consular corps to work toward strengthening Lebanon's relations with world countries economically and otherwise, and to ensure that Lebanon's true image is conveyed abroad.
