Beirut: Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen, and UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert discussed today the latest developments in Syria and the UN's efforts to contribute to promoting stability in the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two sides reviewed the ongoing coordination between Lebanon and Syria to address the situation on the border between the two countries, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
