Lesha Bank Posts 56% Rise in Net Profits

Doha: Lesha Bank has reported a sharp increase in annual profits, posting a 56% rise in net earnings as performance improved across the year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the bank's annual financial results published on the Qatar Stock Exchange on Wednesday showed that net profit reached QR 200.1 million for the year, compared with QR 128.2 million in the previous year.

Earnings per share also increased, rising to QR 0.179 for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025, up from QR 0.114 over the same period a year earlier.

The bank's board of directors has proposed a cash dividend of 6% of the nominal share value, equivalent to QR 0.06 per share, subject to approval by regulators and the bank's general assembly.

The results reflect stronger financial performance amid improving market conditions, as Qatar's banking sector continues to show resilience.
