Libya, UN Discuss Enhancing Joint Cooperation

Doha: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, engaged in discussions with Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the Strategic Review Team, Daniela Kroslak. The discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation between Libya and the United Nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also included a review of the activities conducted by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) over recent years. Both parties explored prospects for future cooperation, particularly in areas of economic reform, promoting stability, and fostering development.

Emphasis was placed on the need for sustained coordination and consultation to aid Libya's political transition and ensure sustainable development.
