Tripoli: Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, welcomed the signing of the agreement to end the war in Gaza, asserting that it is an important step toward alleviating the suffering endured by the Palestinian people over the past two years.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on Monday on his Facebook page, Dbeibah stated that this step would pave the way for reconstruction efforts and the restoration of stability in the region.

The Libyan Prime Minister commended the constructive role played by US President Donald Trump and the fruitful mediation efforts undertaken by Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye, which contributed to facilitating the negotiations and achieving the deal.
