Doha: Libya's economy has seen a significant boost, with the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) projected to increase dramatically from USD 135 billion in 2020 to USD 420 billion in 2025, according to Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammed Al Huweij.
According to Qatar News Agency, speaking at the opening of the Tripoli International Fair, Al Huweij highlighted that the GDP growth over these years, as reported by the Ministry of Planning, represents a remarkable leap for the country's economy.
He also pointed out that the private sector contributes USD 224 billion to this GDP, describing it as a "true economic renaissance."
