Lusail: Lusail International Circuit is continuing its preparations to host the Qatar Airways Formula One Qatar Grand Prix, scheduled for Nov. 28 to 30, 2025. In a statement issued Monday, the circuit announced that the globally renowned rock band Metallica would join the event's lineup, delivering a special performance following the main race on Nov. 30 evening. According to Qatar News Agency, the final day of competition will feature a series of events, highlighted by the Formula Two world championship's main race, followed by the marquee attraction: the Formula One Qatar Grand Prix. The grand prix race will consist of 57 laps around the 5.38-kilometer track, which has quickly established itself as one of the premier venues on the Formula One calendar thanks to its high speeds. Lusail International Circuit, which has hosted motorsports events since 2004, is renowned for its 16 flowing turns suited to medium- and high-speed driving, top-tier facilities, record-breaking pit lane and its striking floodlighti ng. The circuit previously announced that tickets for the main grandstand had sold out entirely, amid unprecedented demand to attend the race weekend - a sign of its rising stature as one of the region's premier sporting spectacles.
