Lusail International Circuit to Host Formula 4 Middle East Championship Final Race

Doha: Lusail International Circuit has announced that it will host the final race of the Formula 4 Middle East Championship this season, on the sidelines of the Qatar 1812 km race, which constitutes the opening round of the 2025 World Endurance Championship, from February 26 to 28.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Middle East Championship is witnessing strong competition for the title between Emanuele Olivieri, who leads the overall standings with 269 points, Kian Nakamura Berta, who is in second place with 221 points, and Alex Powell, who is in third place with 207 points. The competition will remain open among the trio, with decisive points available in the final round, indicating strong competition at the Lusail International Circuit.

Three drivers representing the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation will participate in the final round of the Middle East Championship, including Bader Al Sulaiti, Taha Hasiba, and Tamim Hasiba. The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) has developed a motorsports development programme, of which the three Qatari drivers participating in the Middle East Championship are a result, and the programme is a source of inspiration for the next generation of local motorsports talent.

The F4 Middle East Championship represents the first step in the path of single-seater car racing, providing young drivers with a professional platform to develop their careers in the world of motorsports. The championship features the participation of modern F4 cars that are run according to the regulations of the International Automobile Federation, ensuring the highest standards of competition and safety.
