Cuba: Cuba experienced a widespread power outage following the collapse of its national electricity grid, marking the fourth such incident in five months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines reported that the failure resulted in significant power generation losses in the western part of the country, leading to the grid's collapse.
Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz addressed the situation on X, stating that in response to the unexpected failure of the national electricity system, they are working tirelessly to restore power as quickly as possible.
