Doha: Media City Qatar celebrated setting a world record recognized by Guinness World Records for the "Most People Contributing to an AI-Generated Image" as part of the "Qatar ArtBeat" initiative, launched in celebration of 2024 Qatar National Day.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the event held at the Media City Qatar headquarters, a Guinness World Records judge presented the record certificate in the presence of several prominent figures and representatives from local institutions that contributed to the success of the project, in collaboration with Google Cloud.

Media City Qatar emphasized that this achievement reflects Qatar's commitment to supporting innovation and enhancing the use of modern technology in various fields. The initiative highlights the capabilities of the Qatar community and its contributions to globally impactful creative projects.

This milestone is part of Media City Qatar's efforts to establish the country as a global hub for innovation and technology, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.

The initiative entered the Guinness World Records by achieving the largest number of participants in the creation of an image using artificial intelligence, with over 5.4 million people contributing and 68,000 interactions from around the world, demonstrating the role of emerging technologies in uniting communities and fostering creativity and innovation.
