Doha: Al Khor will face Al Arabi in the second round of the Qatar Men's Volleyball League on Sunday, with all matches being held at the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) Hall and featuring 10 clubs. Al Khor enters the match with 11 points, currently in seventh place, while Al Arabi sits in second with 31 points, three points behind league leaders Al Wakrah. In another match, Police, in fourth place with 27 points, will play Al Ahli, who are sixth with 20 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QVA announced the organization of the first-ever clubs festival for girls under 13, to be held on Tuesday at the QVA Hall. This event is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the youth volleyball base. In a statement, the QVA said organizing the festival underscores commitment to supporting young age groups, considering it a vital activity for discovering talent, developing technical skills, and fostering a love for the game in a positive and competitive environment.
