Microsoft has confirmed the discontinuation of HoloLens 2 mixed reality glasses, wherein the company will no longer make HoloLens products, neither first nor second-generation glasses, and there are no signs of the development of a newer version. According to a statement from Microsoft, customers wishing to receive this device must submit their orders as soon as possible before they run out of stock. Although the company has halted production, it will continue to support HoloLens 2 glasses with updates and fill security gaps for an additional four years until 2028. The mixed reality glasses runs 'Windows 10 Holographic' powered by the Snapdragon 850 processor. Microsoft has improved the field of vision in the second generation of glasses, made the device more comfortable to use, and significantly raised the performance of the HPU vision processor, to achieve better stability in the image, while offering new features. Microsoft had announced HoloLens 2 glasses over five years ago, in early 2019. Source: Q atar News Agency
