Damascus, Mr. Fayssal Mikdad received on Thursday a phone call from His Highness, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, congratulating him on assuming his new post. Minister Bin Farhan stressed the Kingdom's keenness on strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries, and wished Mr. Mikdad success in his new duties.
