Bethlehem - Together - Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Hani Al-Hayek inspected the Church of the Nativity in the city of Bethlehem, where he met with the heads of the three sects in the Church of the Nativity, separately. Minister Hayek began his visit by meeting with the Greek Orthodox Patriarchal Vicar at the Church of the Nativity, Metropolitan Venectos, in the presence of the Greek Orthodox Deputy Bishop. He then met with the head of the Latin Monastery, Father Enrique, in the presence of the head of the Latin community, Father Rami Asakria, the deputy head of the community, and the director of the Trascenta School. Minister Hayek spoke before the heads of the sects about the crisis that the tourism sector is experiencing in Palestine as a result of the aggression against the Gaza Strip, stressing the ministry's work on a set of programs and marketing plans that will work to ensure the return of tourism activity to Palestine immediately after the end of the aggression, by targeting new tourist markets and tourist categories. New ones will come to Palestine as part of Palestinian tourism programs and users of Palestinian tourist facilities, such as hotels, oriental antique stores, Palestinian means of transportation, and many others. Al-Hayek stressed the necessity of developing the tourism situation in the Church of the Nativity by overcoming obstacles and developing the necessary infrastructure for tourist groups to make the tourist's visit to Palestine rich, which will contribute to conveying the true image of Palestine to various countries of the world through these tourist groups, speaking about the importance of joint work in Removing obstacles to the visit of tourist groups to the Church of the Nativity and preparing to begin the arrival of tourist groups to Palestine immediately after the end of the aggression. Al-Hayek discussed with the heads of the sects ways to overcome obstacles facing tourist groups coming to visit the Church of the Nativity, in addition to discussing ways to develop the necessary infrastructure for tourists in the Church of the Nativity, in addition to discussing ways to develop marketing plans for the Christian pilgrimage to Palestine by taking into account the opinions and observations of the clergy in the Church of the Nativity.
