Doha: HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi stated that the State of Qatar's ambitious vision has positioned the real estate sector as a crucial partner in the country's economic development. This declaration was made during his visit to the 3rd Qatar Real Estate Forum held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) on Monday, under the theme "Aqarat's Future," coinciding with Cityscape Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency emphasized that Qatar's investment environment has become highly attractive due to the government's facilitation, coupled with flexible and advanced laws and regulations, creating an ideal setting for both local and international investors in the real estate sector. He applauded the forum's organizers for their diligent efforts in hosting this event and recognized the government pavilion's significant role in supporting the real estate industry by offering qualitative services and initiatives.
His Excellency also underscored the Ministry of Justice's active participation in the pavilion, engaging in various activities and events that highlight the ministry's pioneering efforts in supporting and enhancing real estate sector services. He pointed out the efficiency of government services, the swift completion of transactions, and digital transformation initiatives as key contributors to making the Qatari real estate experience exemplary.
Further, His Excellency praised the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Interior, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, and the Ministry of Justice in facilitating access to real estate services, including the issuance of ownership deeds and residency permits. He acknowledged Saudi Arabia's successful real estate experience, noting that its participation in the forum as a guest of honor offers a valuable opportunity to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and forge strategic partnerships. This collaboration aims to boost the Gulf real estate market's appeal, positioning it as a promising destination for investors, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable future for the Gulf real estate sector.
During his tour of Cityscape Qatar, His Excellency was briefed on the latest products and deals offered by participating real estate companies and developers. He received detailed insights into the most prominent current and future real estate projects within Qatar and the broader region. Additionally, His Excellency paid a visit to the Saudi pavilion, further strengthening Qatar's ties with its Gulf neighbor.
