Doha: The Workforce Planning Committee held its regular meeting on Thursday, chaired by HE Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Committee Dr. Ali bin Saeed bin Smaikh Al Marri.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on discussing the latest developments in the country's workforce sector. The participants reviewed the progress of work on various initiatives and projects that are part of the Third National Strategy. This strategy aims to foster an efficient and productive workforce by developing national competencies and utilizing the talents of highly skilled expatriate workers. Additionally, the strategy seeks to increase the percentage of the national workforce employed in the private sector.
