Doha: HE Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, met on Tuesday with HE Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar, Arnaud Pescheux. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance and further develop them, particularly in the field of labour.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, also met with the Director of the ILO Office in Qatar, Francesco d'Ovidio. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the framework of bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the International Labour Organization and to follow up on the progress and key developments of the ongoing joint programme.
