Riyadh: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with HE Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Nazhat Shameem Khan. The discussions focused on the Israeli assault on Qatar that occurred on September 9, which is being considered within the framework of international criminal law as a punishable offense.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Al Khulaifi is leading the legal team appointed by the Cabinet to initiate legal proceedings in response to the attack. The assault targeted residences of Hamas negotiators in Qatar and resulted in both fatalities and injuries.

His Excellency emphasized Qatar's steadfast commitment to upholding international law and expressed the nation's determination to protect its rights through legitimate legal channels.
