Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Engages with US Officials on Economic Collaboration

Washington: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, met with a range of US officials during a visit to the United States. His Excellency engaged in discussions with key figures, including the White House Special Advisor for AI and Crypto Affairs, David O. Sacks, and US Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, Jacob Helberg.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings also included Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, Jeffrey Kessler, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Global Markets, David Fogel, CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Ben Black, and Jeffrey Goettman, the nominee for Deputy United States Trade Representative. The primary focus of these discussions was on enhancing economic and commercial ties between Qatar and the United States.

HE Al Sayed highlighted the robust nature of Qatar-US economic relations, characterized by strong trade flows and shared investments. He noted the active cooperation in the private sector, emphasizing the importance of the partnership across various fields such as economy, commerce, and investments. The Minister expressed that this evolving partnership reflects the commitment of both nations to further strengthen their relations in the future.
