London: In the context of the state visit by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to London, HE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, held a meeting on Wednesday with HE Director for Pakistan and Afghanistan at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Andrew McCoubrey. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss and strengthen the cooperation ties between Qatar and the United Kingdom. According to Qatar News Agency, discussions centered around the situation in Afghanistan and explored avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of health, education, and humanitarian and development projects. These efforts align with the joint development portfolio shared by Qatar and the UK, indicating a commitment to expanding their collaborative efforts in these critical areas.
