Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met today with HE Minister of Culture in the Lebanese caretaker government, Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada, who is currently visiting Doha. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon, exploring avenues for bolstering their bilateral relations, and discussing a range of issues of mutual concern. According to Qatar News Agency, during the talks, HE Al Khater reaffirmed Qatar's steadfast support for Lebanon, emphasizing the nation's ongoing commitment to humanitarian assistance and backing initiatives to achieve a ceasefire. She stressed that Qatar's foremost priority is to take all necessary steps to halt aggression against Lebanon, de-escalate tensions, and promote security and stability across the region. For his part, HE El-Mortada expressed gratitude to Qatar for its unwavering support of Lebanon, particularly in light of the challenging circumstances the country is currently facing.
