Lusail: The Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSEA) announced the details of the 7th edition of the Ministries and Authorities Futsal Championship 2025, set to kick off next Sunday at Lusail Multipurpose Hall. During a press conference held at the Hall, it was revealed that 12 teams will participate in the 7th edition; the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Municipality, Sports and Youth, Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, Social Development and Family, as well as Qatar Red Crescent, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), General Authority of Customs, Qatar Museums, Qatar Media Corporation, and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.
According to Qatar News Agency, the draw placed the teams into four groups, with each group including three teams, for a total of 144 players, with 12 players in each team. QSEA Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari stated during the conference that the championship is part of efforts by the ministries and government and private entities to organize sports events for their employees throughout the year. He emphasized that the Federation is committed to providing opportunities for members of society to engage in sports and participate in various programs.
Al Dosari expressed his hopes that this edition will be a success and a valuable addition to the events organized by the QSEA. The participating teams will earn 20 points that will be considered in the State Sports Day Award. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education team claimed the title of the last edition of the championship after defeating the Ministry of Interior with a score of 1-0.
