Doha: The Ministry of Culture on Saturday announced the subscription period for the 35th Doha International Book Fair, which will run from January 1 to February 12, 2026. The ministry has clarified that online registration will be available through the fair's official website, amid expectations of a surge in the number of participants compared to the previous edition. According to Qatar News Agency, the fair continues to gain momentum and confidence among Arab and international publishers, standing as one of the most prominent and largest book fairs in the region. The official website offers an opportunity for publishing houses, libraries, cultural institutions, think tanks, associations, universities, as well as international organizations and ministries to submit subscription requests after fulfilling the approved subscription conditions, which are published on the website. Applicants wishing to participate in the fair can do so by visiting the official website: www.dohabookfair.qa. Having held its first edition in 1972, the upcoming 35th edition of the fair is scheduled to take place from May 14 to 23, 2026.
