The Ministry of Education participated in the 65th General Assembly meeting of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, in collaboration with the National Centre for Educational Research. The ministry was represented by Dr. Samah Mohammed Al Ajjawi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Development of Education and Learning Policies at the Ministry of Education. The meeting gathered over 100 participants from more than 60 countries. Discussions covered the association's projects, reports on current and future international studies, and the impact of these studies on national educational reforms. Professional development sessions were also held on topics related to the association's studies, such as the International Computer and Information Literacy Study, Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study, Progress in International Reading Literacy Study, and the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study.
