Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) celebrated Earth Hour on Saturday by turning off the lights in the ministry's main building, Al Adeed Tower, and all its affiliated buildings for one hour. The ministry's participation in this global event underscores its dedication to environmental responsibility and its efforts to promote community awareness about the importance of energy conservation.

The Director of the MoECC's Green Development and Environmental Sustainability, Eng. Abdullah Jumaa Al Muraikhi, emphasized the significance of Earth Hour as a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about environmental challenges and the protection of natural resources.
Eng. Al Muraikhi noted that the ministry remains focused on implementing various environmental programs and initiatives that contribute to environmental sustainability.
