Doha: In cooperation with the Qatar Cancer Society, the Ministry of Justice organized on Wednesday a day to raise awareness and educate about cancer, with the aim of shedding light on the disease and the importance of prevention, early detection, and treatment methods. This day is organized on the occasion of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is marked by the State of Qatar each year, within the framework of the ministry's social responsibility, and in line with national policies that support society and promote health culture. The ministry also aims to support the national cancer early detection program, which contributes to raising awareness and early detection of the disease in the State of Qatar, in accordance with the national cancer prevention strategy, which represents a shift towards preventive and community health care. During the awareness day at the Ministry of Justice, the medical team from the Qatar Cancer Society supervised the provision of detailed explanations and information to employees about cancer prevention methods and the importance of early detection and treatment.
