Doha: The Ministry of Labor (MoL) has honored its "Partners in Success" for their support in enhancing the work environment across Qatar. This recognition event, organized by MoL, underscores the Ministry's dedication to nurturing strong communication between public and private sector institutions and international organizations, aligning with its strategic goals.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ceremony featured remarks from HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani. She emphasized the Ministry's dedication over the past three years to achieving its vision by creating a work environment that attracts an effective and productive workforce, consistent with Qatar's Second and Third National Development Strategies.
The Ministry's collaborative efforts with state institutions have resulted in significant achievements locally, regionally, and internationally. Qatar's progress in improving its work environment has become a benchmark for other countries aiming to enhance labor conditions, particularly through cooperation with international organizations, as highlighted by Her Excellency.
Part of the Third National Development Strategy involves balancing the attraction of global talent with the development of local expertise to lead critical economic sectors. MoL's teams have engaged with stakeholders, especially in the private sector, to create an environment welcoming to Qatari citizens, thereby boosting their participation in the national economy.
Director of Public Relations and Communication at MoL, Huda Al Meghiseeb, stated that the honoring ceremony represents a chance to recognize and appreciate efforts advancing Qatar's labor sector. She also noted the sector's tangible accomplishments, both locally and globally, which have enhanced Qatar's international standing.
