Doha: The Ministry of Labour, through its Department of Qualifying and Skills Development, participated in the second career fair at Qatar Technical Secondary School for Girls. The event aimed to steer students towards suitable academic and professional paths, focusing on areas associated with modern technology and its significant impact on the national economy.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry's involvement is consistent with its dedication to bridging the gap between education and the labour market's requirements. This initiative is part of the National Development Strategy 2024-2030, which aims to foster a highly effective, competitive, and productive workforce, especially in the private sector.

During the fair, representatives from the Department of Qualifying and Skills Development shared comprehensive information about promising university specializations, career readiness programs, summer training initiatives, and professional qualification opportunities. These offerings are designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge for future employment.
