Doha: The activities of the second edition of the international forum "Youth at Hostel," organized by Qatar Youth Hostels under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, concluded today. The event was held in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). According to Qatar News Agency, a diverse group of young people from countries including Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Italy, Sudan, Morocco, Bahrain, Egypt, and Palestine participated in the forum. The participants were assigned to four committees: the Committee of International Organizations, the Committee of Governmental Institutions, the Committee of Youth-Centered Civil Societies, and the Private Sector Committee. Work on these committees continued throughout the forum, focusing on significant global issues. On the final day, the committees presented six recommendations aimed at addressing the phenomenon of climate change and its effects on the world. These recommendations will be submitted to UNICEF for further action. Abdullah Saeed, Head of Public Relations and Communications at Qatar Youth Hostels, highlighted the collaborative efforts and achievements of the participants during the forum. Additionally, participants were given the opportunity to vote on the theme for the third edition of the upcoming forum, which is set to be announced next year. The second edition of "Youth at Hostel" took place at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall and witnessed the active participation of 22 young men and women, demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing global challenges.
