Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) reaffirmed its commitment to attracting and developing national talents to join the labor market, while strengthening cooperation with universities and educational institutions in the country, in a way that prepares a generation of national cadres capable of contributing to the country's economic development.
According to Qatar News Agency, during its participation in the third career fair organized by Lusail University, the MOCI presented its training programs and initiatives to students and graduates, introducing them to the available career opportunities within its diverse sectors. Additionally, it highlighted its role in supporting sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
In a statement on Wednesday, the MOCI affirmed its commitment to regularly participating in career fairs organized by national universities, recognizing the crucial role these events play in bridging educational outcomes with the labor market and empowering youth to contribute effectively to the national development process.
The MOCI emphasized the importance of encouraging students to undergo practical training, which allows them to become familiar with the work environment in the government sector and gain experience and skills that will help them develop their future career paths.
With the participation of more than 50 public and private employers operating in various fields, the third Lusail University Career Fair, which continues until Thursday, aims to provide a platform for students and graduates to access available job opportunities, discover practical training opportunities, and receive academic support from many participating entities.
