MOEHE Honors 166 Graduates from Tomoh Program

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) honored Monday 166 male and female graduate from Tomoh program for the academic year 2022/2023.

During the introductory meeting for graduates of the “Tomoh” program for the current academic year, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at MOEHE Maha Al Ruwaili and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs at MOEHE Dr. Khalid Al Ali honored the new graduates.

In her speech marking the occasion, Al Ruwaili expressed her happiness that the graduates choose education as a profession for themselves. She stressed the MOEHE’s keenness to support them and provide them with all assistance and support to overcome any challenges as they are the ones taking care of the students for promising generations, making them fit and successful in their lives, considering the graduates as leaders of change and makers of the future as teaching profession is one of the noblest professions and has a positive impact on all aspects of life.

She stressed the great interest that Qatar attaches to education as an investment that would achieve equality and develop societies, pointing out that the teacher is the main focus in this process and the first influencer in the formation of the student’s personality.

For her part, Director of the Educational Training and Development Center at MOEHE Eman Salman Al Mohannadi gave an introduction of the center’s “successful start” initiative that was launched during the academic year 2022/2023, reviewing its different axes, benefits, training fields, and its role in preparing the teachers in all aspects that they need for their profession.

In turn, acting director of the recruitment department at MOEHE Fatima Youssef Al Marwani spoke about the mechanism for applying for job vacancies for Qatari citizens through Kawader portal and non-Qatari through the ministry’s website.

The “Tomoh” program is sponsored by MEHE in partnership with the College of Education at Qatar University and is concerned with attracting students to the teaching profession after obtaining a Bachelor of Education in various scientific and literary disciplines.

The objective of the forum is to introduce graduates to benefits, career options, training and professional development plans, as well as to prepare them and provide them with policies, plans, programs, systems, regulations, and guide books.
