Manama, The concerned Interior Ministry directorates , including civil defence and traffic, have intensified efforts to deal with the consequences of heavy rainfall across the kingdom. Efforts have continued to help citizens and residents in dealing with water accumulation areas and handling received cases. The General Directorate of Civil Defence has dealt with cases of falling trees, lampposts, and shades, as well as short circuits. Pumps were used to drain rainwater in coordination with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Works Ministry. Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Traffic dealt with traffic accidents, moving cars with technical faults, regulating traffic, and road diversions. Also, the Coast Guard urged seafarers to be cautious and follow precautionary measures, and the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture carried out its awareness role through the Police Media Centre website and social media.
