MOI Undersecretary for Security Affirms Milipol Qatar’s Role in Raising Security Awareness Among Police Officers

Doha: HE Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud Al-Thani, emphasized the important and central role of Milipol Qatar exhibition in raising security awareness among police officers. He noted that the event familiarizes them with modern and innovative security equipment and technologies that assist in combating all forms of crime. He regarded the exhibition as one of the most important security events globally due to its display of advanced equipment, devices, and technologies. His Excellency highlighted that international participation in Milipol Qatar reflects the global trust that countries and companies place in the State of Qatar and its leading role in various fields. He pointed out that the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Homeland Security and Safety Technology, held as part of Milipol Qatar 2024, is a significant addition due to the rapid growth of AI technology in all sectors, particularly in security. Smart tec hnologies have become effective solutions for helping internal security agencies analyze data, prevent crimes, protect infrastructure from cyberattacks, and counter future threats, playing a vital role in combating crime.
