Doha: The Ministry of Labour (MOL), in collaboration with MEEZA, conducted a training session for IT graduates seeking employment to enhance the skills of the national workforce in the IT sector, in addition to equipping participants to adapt to ongoing advancements in this critical field and meet the demands of the labour market. According to Qatar News Agency, this initiative supports the objectives of the Private Sector Nationalisation Law and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030's human development pillar. It focuses on developing national talents, boosting their competitiveness, and improving their readiness and productivity in the labour market. The programme covered key IT disciplines, including cybersecurity, networks, IT infrastructure, information security, and cloud computing. It is part of the Ministry's efforts to increase national workforce participation in the private sector and prepare job seekers to secure positions in leading companies. The Ministry has also signed a memorandum of under standing with MEEZA to advance the skills of national talents in the IT sector. Through this partnership, high-quality training sessions are delivered by skilled specialists to empower participants and enhance their capabilities.
