Rabat: The 11th International Festival of Theater Institutes will kick off next Friday in Rabat, Morocco, with the participation of leading academic institutions from several countries around the world. According to Qatar News Agency, the festival, which will run until November 4, will feature groups from Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Mauritania, Poland, the Netherlands, and Morocco. The organizers explained in a statement that, in addition to theatrical performances, the festival will feature an accompanying program that includes a workshop on sound techniques, a scientific lecture entitled "The Phenomenon of Waiting: Between Reality and Fantasy," and dialogue sessions titled "Theater Without Borders." The International Festival of Theater Institutes is an artistic and cultural platform that combines dialogue, training, and the exchange of experiences between young student artists and professors from various higher schools of theater art from around the world.
