Morocco and the African Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday signed four financing agreements worth more than DM 6.45 billion (more than 600 million euros), covering the areas of education, economics, sustainable development and infrastructure. The agreements were co-signed by Morocco's Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget Fawzi Lakjaa, and Ashraf Tarsem, the Resident Representative of the African Development Bank (ADB) Office in Morocco Ashraf Tarsem . Lakjaa stressed the importance of financing agreements that include training and financing projects with an industrial dimension and promising employment prospects, infrastructure and its enhancement, as well as projects related to the field of forestry and exploiting its capabilities to preserve environmental balances. For his part, Tarsem pointed out that these integrated projects reflect the excellent relationship between the African Development Bank (ADB) and Morocco. Source: Qatar News Agency
