Morocco: Morocco head coach Tarik Sektioui expressed pride in his team after they secured their second FIFA Arab Cup title with a 3-2 victory over Jordan in the final at Lusail Stadium.
According to Qatar News Agency, Sektioui spoke at a post-match press conference, stating that the players delivered on their promise to give everything, praising their commitment, teamwork, and professionalism, particularly their strong response after Jordan took the lead in the second half. He also highlighted the record crowd's role in motivating the team and commended Qatar's organisation of what he described as an exceptional tournament.
Abdulrazak Hamdallah, who was named man of the match, said the players deserved the title after a strong campaign from start to finish, adding that Morocco's success reflected the positive direction of the country's football development.
