Municipality Ministry Announces Launch of Thirteenth AgriteQ 2026 Exhibition on February 12


Doha: The Ministry of Municipality announced Monday the launch of the thirteenth edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Qatar “AgriteQ 2026”, which will be held during the period from Feb.12 to 16, 2026, at Katara Cultural Village, with wide participation from governmental sectors, private entities, and an elite group of local, regional, and international companies and experts specialized in the agricultural sector.



According to Qatar News Agency, Director of the Department of Agricultural Affairs and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition, Yousef Khalid Al Khulaifi, affirmed that “AgriteQ 2026” reflects the rapid development witnessed by the agricultural sector in the State of Qatar and embodies the State’s ambitious vision to build an advanced agricultural system based on innovation and sustainability.



He explained that this edition is the largest in the history of the exhibition in terms of space and international participation, and provides an integrated platform for exchanging experiences, building partnerships, and opening new horizons for cooperation and investment, which contributes to supporting food security locally and regionally. He also noted the importance of choosing Katara Cultural Village because of its vitality and cultural status, which contribute to attracting different segments of society and visitors.



For her part, Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Municipality and a member of the exhibition’s organizing committee, Dr. Faiqa Abdullah Ashkanani, affirmed that the Ministry is implementing a comprehensive media plan to promote the “AgriteQ 2026” exhibition across various media outlets and digital platforms locally, regionally, and internationally. This plan aims to enhance the exhibition’s media presence and highlight its status and importance.



She explained that the media plan focuses on showcasing the State’s role in supporting agriculture and achieving self-sufficiency, highlighting national success stories, and raising public awareness of food security and sustainability issues. It also provides journalists with comprehensive media content that contributes to conveying a complete picture of the event and reaching a regional and international audience.



The organization of the thirteenth edition comes after the continued successes achieved by the exhibition in its previous editions, especially the 2025 edition, which was considered the largest in its history, with the participation of more than 300 exhibitors from more than 29 countries, an attendance of more than 97,000 visitors, and the organization of more than 50 forums and workshops.



The exhibition, which is held over an area of more than 40,000 square meters and lasts for five days, embodies its growing status as a leading regional and international platform in the fields of agriculture, food production, sustainability, and agricultural innovation, as well as its role in supporting the achievement of the goals of the State of Qatar’s food security strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.



“AgriteQ 2026” brings together a select group of local, regional, and international companies across diverse sectors, including plant and animal activities, fisheries and aquaculture, horticulture and landscaping, food industries, transportation and logistics, biotechnology, and smart agricultural systems, in addition to the “AgriteQ” Conference.



The exhibition also features a range of accompanying events that enhance the visitor experience, including the Halal Zone, the Auction Theater, the Animal Tent, the Live Cooking Zone, the Children’s Agricultural Workshops, and “Qatar Lens”, in addition to the Farmers’ Market, the Honey Market, the Dates Market, the Flower Market, and areas dedicated to food and beverages.
