Ramallah - Ma'an - Lawyer Khaled Mahajna was able to carry out a visit to detained journalist Muhammad Saber Arab (42 years old), who worked as a correspondent for Al-Arabi satellite channel before his arrest 100 days ago from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza during the widespread aggression against him last March. The visit took place under strict restrictions and supervision by the occupation soldiers, and the first question directed by the detainee Arabs to the lawyer was, 'Where am I?' Muhammad did not know that he was being detained in the Sde Teman camp. Lawyer Mahajneh conveyed the testimony of detainee Arab, a testimony that is added to the collection of horrific, horrific and shocking testimonies reported by the released Gaza detainees regarding conditions of detention degrading human dignity. The testimony includes talk about the rise of martyrs among the ranks of detainees, and operations of torture, abuse and humiliation, and rapes to which they were subjected. . According to the detainee, 'The camp ad ministration keeps the detainees shackled 24 hours a day and blindfolded. For fifty days, Muhammad has not changed his clothes, and only before the visit was he allowed to change his pants, while he remained with a jacket that he had not changed for fifty days.' He explained in his testimony, 'Over the course of time, they are subjected to torture, abuse, and various forms of assault, including sexual assaults and rape, all of which led to the martyrdom of detainees. The beatings, abuse, humiliation, and insults do not stop, and no detainee is allowed to die.' Talking to any other detainee, and whoever spoke was severely beaten, until the detainees began to talk to themselves, and continued to praise and pray in secret, while they were deprived of prayer and the practice of any religious rituals. As for the conditions of detention of the sick and wounded, some of them had their limbs amputated, and bullets were removed from their limbs without anesthesia. The detainee Arab reported more about the most promin ent detention conditions to which they are subjected. In addition to the process of restraint and blindfolding that takes place over time, they are surrounded by police dogs all the time, and every four detainees are allowed to use the bathroom for a minute, and whoever exceeds the time is subject to (punishment) and they sleep. On the ground, they use their shoes as pillows for sleeping. As for bathing, the available time is once a week for a minute, and sleeping during the day is forbidden. He pointed out that fifty days after his arrest, he was allowed to shave his hair. As for food, it consists of a few bites of labneh and a piece. Of cucumbers or tomatoes, which is the meal that is served to them all the time.' Arabs sent a message through the lawyer Mahajna to the world and to all international human rights institutions, that what they are being subjected to is no less than the genocide to which his people are being exposed in Gaza, and he directed his demand for the necessity of immediate action to sav e them and continue In conveying their suffering. The Prisoners' Association and the Prisoners' Club confirm that, in light of this visit, which carried a new emphasis on the level of horrific crimes to which prisoners are exposed in the occupation prisons and camps, and specifically the conditions of detention to which Gaza detainees have been exposed since the beginning of the war of extermination, as this visit came after amendments to the special regulations. The lawyer recently met with Gaza detainees. It is noteworthy that the occupation imposed a policy of forced disappearance against Gaza detainees since the beginning of the war of genocide, and refused to disclose their fate, numbers, and places of detention. However, with the efforts of various institutions, which are carried out with great difficulties and challenges, we were able, at a certain level, to know some details related to the issue of Gaza detainees, noting that Knowing some of their places of detention does not negate the absence of se cret prisons established by the occupation to hold detainees from Gaza. The Prisoners' Commission and the Prisoners' Club hold the occupation authorities and the countries supporting them in the ongoing war of genocide against our people fully responsible for the fate of the prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons, especially in light of the level of horrific and unprecedented crimes at their current level, which constitute one of the aspects of the ongoing genocide. The Commission and the Prisoners' Club affirm that All the policies and crimes that we observe today are nothing but fixed and systematic policies used by the occupation over many decades, but their intensity only changes. The Prisoners' Commission and the Prisoners' Club renewed their demand for the necessity of opening an impartial international investigation into the crimes and grave violations committed against detainees and prisoners in the occupation's prisons and camps, as an aspect of the ongoing genocide against our people in Gaza, despite the bleak picture that surrounds the international human rights system and the terrifying state of helplessness. Which took control of its image, in the face of the crimes and atrocities committed by the occupation from the beginning of the war of extermination until today, which in essence constitute a violation of all of humanity.
