Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 closed on Tuesday at 7,256.04 points, reflecting a decrease of 113.3 points, or 1.54 percent, from the previous close of 7,369.34 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value for the day amounted to OMR 44,651,685, representing a decline of 28.4 percent compared to the previous session's trading value of OMR 62,351,409. Additionally, a report issued by MSX highlighted a decrease in market value by 0.783 percent, bringing it to approximately OMR 36.02 billion.
