Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange's benchmark index, the MSM 30, closed higher on Monday, gaining 28.8 points, or 0.47%, to finish at 6,192.57 points. The rise came compared with the previous trading session, when the index closed at 6,163.73 points.

According to Qatar News Agency,market capitalisation increased by 0.237% compared with the last trading day, reaching approximately OMR 33.13 billion. Trading value, however, declined during the session. Total turnover stood at OMR 45.5 million, down 19.6% from the OMR 56.6 million recorded in the previous session.
