Doha: Mwani Qatar announced the arrival of 235 vessels during the month of April, reflecting a 22 percent increase compared to the same month in 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on its X account on Thursday, Mwani Qatar reported that container throughput surged by around 50 percent, reaching 129,596 TEUs. Additionally, general and bulk cargo handling amounted to 170,515 tons.

RORO (roll-on/roll-off) handling reached 9,340 units, while livestock handling increased by 30 percent to 25,485 heads. There was also a noteworthy rise in the handling of building and construction materials, which increased by 141 percent to 57,773 tons.
