Doha: The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the town of Koya in Syria, which resulted in dozens of casualties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al Issa denounced in a statement this Israeli approach, highlighting its violation of international laws and norms and its impact on destabilizing security and stability in Syria and the region. He called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action against these violations.

The MWL Secretary-General affirmed full solidarity with Syria and its people against all threats to its security, stability, territorial sovereignty, and unity.
