Doha: The National Archives of Qatar (NAQ) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to bolster bilateral cooperation and share expertise in documentation and archives. This agreement supports joint efforts to preserve national memory. According to Qatar News Agency, the signing ceremony was accompanied by a meeting between NAQ's Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain and Aliya Mustafina, Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting focused on exploring prospects for joint cooperation and opportunities for exchanging expertise. Discussions centered around developing modern digitisation systems, preserving historical documents, and enhancing institutional work within the archival sector.
