Doha: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met Monday with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al Sudani, who is visiting Belgium. Discussions during the meeting dealt with relations between Iraq and NATO and ways to strengthen them.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the Iraqi Prime Minister affirmed that his country has overcome all challenges and today represents a fundamental pillar of security and stability in the region.
