Cairo, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, Chief Executive of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), took part in the 4th EGY Health International Congress and Exhibition held from October 10-12, in Egypt. The event served as a platform for enhancing cooperation in healthcare and medical technology, with participation from officials and experts from around the world. Dr. Al Ansari outlined NHRA's role and its responsibilities in developing health regulations for both the public and private sectors. He also discussed the regulatory processes for licensing healthcare institutions and professionals, in addition to overseeing pharmaceutical products and medical devices. The CEO highlighted Bahrain's success in launching several strategic initiatives aimed at developing the healthcare sector and achieving the highest standards of quality, excellence, and sustainability in health services. Among the key initiatives he mentioned were the National Health Plan and efforts to promote healthcare investment by en hancing investment opportunities in the sector. The exhibition aimed to strengthen strategic partnerships in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, showcase the latest innovations in medical devices and surgical supplies, and highlight the advanced technologies used in diagnosis and treatment.
