Nine Martyrs Including Children Recovered in Eastern Gaza

Gaza City: Medical and specialized teams Saturday recovered the bodies of nine Palestinian martyrs, including five children and a woman, following an Israeli airstrike on a house in eastern Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, the bodies were retrieved from the rubble of a home bombed at dawn in Al Tuffah neighborhood and were transported to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

The Israeli aggression on Gaza resumed early Tuesday, March 18, after a two-month ceasefire agreement that had been in effect since January 19. However, Israel violated the terms of the ceasefire over the past two months, continuing sporadic attacks across Gaza, resulting in casualties and injuries.

The occupation also refused to implement humanitarian protocols and tightened its suffocating blockade on the Strip, which is enduring an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched an offensive on Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of over 49,617 Palestinians and injuries to 112,950 others. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble.
