Nine people went missing on Thursday after a plane they were on board crashed in a forested area in Chachoengsao province, southeast of Bangkok, Thailand's capital. Thai media reported on Friday that search operations have continued over the past hours for the nine passengers, who are feared dead. The nine individuals-two pilots and seven passengers-were on their way from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Trat province when the crash occurred. More than 300 military personnel and volunteers have been deployed to assist in the search efforts, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause and circumstances of the crash.
