Doha: Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,740, while 172,192 others were wounded since the start of the aggression on Oct. 7, 2023.

According to Qatar News Agency, the same sources reported that Gaza Strip hospitals received three more martyrs and 16 wounded in the past 24 hours. They indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on Oct. 11 has risen to 854, and the total number of wounded to 2,453, while 770 bodies have been recovered.

They explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them so far.
