Gaza: A number of Palestinians, including children, were killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling of various areas of the Gaza Strip. Medical sources in Gaza reported Sunday that 8 Palestinians, including 4 children, were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a gathering of residents east of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that an Israeli airstrike targeted Al Manara neighborhood, south of the city. Medical teams also transferred the bodies of two martyrs as a result of Israeli shelling of the Al Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City, and injuries occurred as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted a group of Palestinians in Al Nafaq Street in Gaza City. Several were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a populated house in Jabalia Al Balad, north of the Gaza Strip. There were also martyrs and wounded when the occupation aircraft bombed a residential house in the Al Tawbah area, west of Jabalia ca mp. Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, said that a group of children were injured, some of them seriously, on Sunday evening, as a result of Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the hospital's inpatient floor. In press remarks, he indicated that the bombing also targeted the nursery, the hospital yard, and the water tanks, which made the situation more dangerous and difficult. He added that the Israeli occupation bombing came after a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) left and some of the wounded were evacuated. In the middle of the Gaza Strip, civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 5 new martyrs from under the rubble of two family homes that were bombed in the new camp, west of the Nuseirat camp. There were also 5 injuries from the bullets of the occupation army vehicles at Taba Al Nuwairi west of the camp. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 43,341 martyrs and 102,105 wound ed, since Oct. 7, 2023.
